CaptainAndy'sHotAssPepperSauce

I created this label for my late father. He'd made some pepper sauce he wanted to give as gifts and asked me to make a label for his jars. Being a former tugboat captain, he'd proudly named it, "Captain Andy's Hot Ass Pepper Sauce". Then, he went into the hospital to have a tumor removed. He never came home. I'd texted him a photo of this label the night before he died. Unfortunately, he never got to see it.

The Approach

Copper Owl approaches every project individually. Each project is different and complex in its own way. I supply my clients with questionnaires to help focus their concepts and ideas, keep the project within scope, and inspire the designs.

My #1 goal is to ensure you're satisfied with your designs. So far, the track record for hitting the nail on the head is pretty steady!

Copper Owl's Story

For ten years, Copper Owl Press has helped start-ups, authors, and non-profits bring their creative vision to life. I've collaborated with individuals on branding initiatives, cover art, websites, and marketing strategies.

For a period, Copper Owl Press went on a brief hiatus. Now I'm back, better than ever, and ready to serve my clients!

KaytalinMcCarry

I have 10+ years of experience specializing in graphic design and marketing. I'm a published author, and currently work as the Marketing Services Coordinator for international pump manufacturer TEIKOKU USA INC., where I manage and facilitate the development of collateral materials, trade show booths, and advertising. I work with our international satellite offices to provide collateral materials benefiting their particular markets, which means providing materials in metric dimensions and designs which can easily be translated into German and Japanese. I organize, register, and plan trade show appearances, organize travel and hotel accommodations for attendees, and attend and work the booth at events. I maintain and create technical manuals, editing and cleaning translated Japanese documents, and recreating technical graphics for manual use.

I previously worked at Remington & Vernick Engineers (RVE) as Creative Director, where I rebranded the company and managed the launch of their new website (2017). Prior to joining RVE, I worked at Urban Engineers. During my time with Urban, I led the design of several high-profile proposals that culminated in multi-million dollar wins for key projects. As a Graphics and Web Developer, I maintained the company website, designed ads, and other collateral materials.
